How do I get a quote and buy?
Go to travallamains.com, choose Get started and enter your state, destination, dates, first trip payment date, and each traveler's date of birth and trip cost. Your plan options and prices appear right away.
Compare the plans, open View Plan Documents, and add any optional upgrades.
Choose Buy this plan and enter the travelers' details.
Trawick plans are paid online. For Travel Insured and WorldTrips plans, a licensed agent contacts you to complete the purchase.
Coverage begins only after the purchase is completed with the insurance company and paid.
What information do you need for a quote?
Your state of residence, main destination, departure and return dates, the date of your first trip payment, and each traveler's date of birth and prepaid, non-refundable trip cost.
No payment information and no medical information is needed for a quote.
How do I pay?
By card, paid to the insurance company.
Trawick plans: you pay in the insurance company's secure payment window during checkout.
Travel Insured and WorldTrips plans: a licensed agent contacts you to complete the purchase and take payment.

Can I send you my credit card number by text or email?
Please do not. Never send card numbers, or medical details, by chat, email or text message. Payment is taken only in the insurance company's secure payment window or by a licensed agent when completing your purchase.
What documents will I receive after buying?
You receive a confirmation of coverage with your plan number and the plan document for your state, sent by email by the insurance company.
If it has not arrived, check your spam folder and then email info@travallamains.com. When you travel, carry your plan number and the plan's 24/7 assistance phone numbers.
Where can I read the full plan details before I buy?
Plan cards have a View Plan Documents button that opens the plan document that applies to you. It is linked again at checkout. If a card shows Request Plan Documents instead, we will email the document to you before you buy.
The plan document is the full description of coverage and it governs. Our answers and the benefit lists on the site are summaries.
Can I buy a plan for someone else?
Yes. Enter the travelers' details: their state of residence, dates of birth and trip costs. The insured people are the travelers named on the plan, and the state is where they live, not where you live.
Does filling in the form buy insurance?
No. Getting a quote or sending a request does not buy insurance and does not start coverage. You are covered only after the purchase is completed with the insurance company and paid.
Is the price on the site final?
The price comes from the insurance company for the details you entered and is confirmed again at purchase. It changes if your trip details change, for example the trip cost, dates, travelers or upgrades.
Do you offer annual or multi-trip plans?
The plans on our site are single-trip plans: one plan per trip. If you travel often, email info@travallamains.com and a licensed agent will tell you what is available.
Do your plans cover cruises?
Yes. Cruises are covered like other trips: cancellation, interruption, medical, evacuation, and missed connection benefits if a covered delay makes you miss the ship.
Travel Insured Deluxe and Platinum also offer an optional Cruise bundle with extra cruise-specific benefits such as itinerary change and shore excursions.
Can I insure a trip to Cuba?
Possibly, with restrictions. You must certify at checkout that every traveler is a U.S. citizen whose travel to Cuba is authorized under U.S. Treasury Department regulations, and plan availability is limited.
